  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans.     I will but it will probably be a couple weeks before I get around to this project. First I need to finish making a base for the mill and then tram in the head and column. Then it will ether be make the nut or install the DRO on the mill. Not sure what I will tackle first.

    I have had a sheet of 16 gauge stainless, with a 2" lip bent down the long side, for over 20 years. I got it for free from a place I used to work because the bend is off buy the tiniest little bit. It has moved with me 3 or 4 times and still the only use I ever found for it was to lean it up...
