  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

    Cleaned DRO scale

I cleaned the X axis scale on my DRO. When I bought the mill there were no side covers on the scale, so wide open on both ends. Still can't believe the amount of crap that found its way up and across. It was grubby the whole length. Of course worse at the ends. And I think it worked - the...

Schematics and Circuit Board layout with Fusion 360

The boards I ordered will arrive later today, so I still can't speak to the quality, but assembly from PCBway SEEMS to be $29 USD for 20 boards. I don't know what the additional costs would be for components. I thought about given this a try for the boards I ordered, but doing it will be half...
