  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area.     This is the programmer I have. It is labelled ”enhanced JDM” and is used with picpgm software. I’ve never used it so can’t comment on its capabilities. Your welcome to give it a try.

    My 1013 has the 1kHz calibration terminal. It’s likely not on the 1014 because it has the internal function generator.

    At least here in Alberta 120/208 uses all 3 phases. It is 120V on each leg with the center grounded. 240 open delta does use 2 phases and line to line voltage is 240. There is no center ground. One of the line to line supplies is grounded in the middle to give 120/240 single phase which is...

    Here’s a screen shot of data from a pms5003 sensor using the 1013D. The sensor measures the amount of 2.5 micron particles in the air. The scope is pretty easy to use.

    The Rigol 50MHz oscilloscopes could be hacked to 100MHz. I’m a bit sceptical though. It may well of been packaged as 50MHz as a way of utilizing boards that didn’t meet 100MHz specs. https://hackaday.com/2010/03/31/update-50mhz-to-100mhz-scope-conversion/
