Cool Tools in your home shop that you'd not likely not see in someone else's?

Your tale of the childhood vise and looking across the room in your photo ( the Dillon and Lee and a case cleaner) brought back memories of when I was nine yrs old helping the old man loads some up...and over 200,000 rounds later I'm still at it.

    Broken Spring

Im with Jorgi that i dont think welding is an option that holds much promise. Two options that might help you get a reasonable facsimile built, most gunsmiths have a supply of spring blank wire on hand to make "one -off" obsolete springs and have considerable experience doing so. Next...

    S/E Asian button rifling

In reality, your right, not much more than a very close quarters "in a room" self protection usable item . The simple ingenuity of the maker caught my admiration. I have often thought about "how could I cut a home made button rifling slug " but couldnt come up with a simple solution to cut...

Stuck in Edmonton day and half.

When I get to the bright lights a stop at the Metal Warehouse is a requisite for a dash thru the full lengths new stuff and a slow saunter thru the cut-off bins

Cool Tools in your home shop that you'd not likely not see in someone else's?

Cool Tools in your home shop that you'd not likely not see in someone else's?

I have a few big tools still around from the "Cat" days in my life. I dont have any photos and dont ever plan on having to use that stuff again...Iv had enough pulling & straining to last a life time. Some "open end-box end wrenches up to 21/2", A hand full of 1" drive sockets up to 4", Tap...
