  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

    What's it worth?

    Ha Ha I have 2 of those re-purposed, one is my "clean meat" cooling table after an animal is cut into large chunks, easy to roll from warmer butchering area into a cold storage holding point. The other is just a roller table for anything that needs a ride that's easier than carrying.

    Thyere is an actual "official" way to differentiate a lake from a Slough at Ab. land titles branch and drainage regulations in municipalities....a slough is just a collection point for spring or rain run off water, a lake is fed by continuous running spring water or creek/river.

    One of my recent regrets in life is that, after he had a debilitating stroke and was unable to convers anymore, I learned one of my neighbors was an original Mosquito pilot throughout the war. I would have loved to talk to him first hand of his contribution to our freedom.

    You can only pull someting that is strong enough to be pulled against what is holding it and by the sounds of it , your pins are soft & weak so, if you have access to the other side I would grind the pin heads off & drive the pins out the other side.
