  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area.     Busy printing one. I posted this question onto the AlibreCAD Support group and one of the senior members whipped up a funnel and posted the CAD file, @David can have a copy if he wants. Busy printing it now. Will be about 4:34PM PDT when it finishes.

    One could use PETG or ABS. The idea behind this was filtering alcohol from resin printers to filter out the used resin. I don't have a resin printer but I though the idea was interesting. When I have used a coffee filter in a funnel it does plug up rapidly.

    Amazing what you can do with 1x3's and a biscuit jointer and chop saw. There's the frame holding the bird netting to allow lots of light through. And the peas and beans have been planted. Now only time will tell.
