I considered that. Would really be handy for mobile stainless, but honestly at $135, if a job ever comes up where I'd need it, I'd just buy that one too.

I learned tig first too. shop had a synchrowave 250, and I got about 5min of "instruction" from one of the toolmakers I worked with. I stayed after work practicing for months until I got less and less crappy at it lol. Then didn't touch it or anything for about 6-7 years till I got my own and...

Ya, I thought it was too good to be true too. I have some projects to do in the blacksmith shop, so I'll be using it in there a bit. When I'll get to that I don't know, but hopefully soon. I'd really like to burn a lot more rod with it, as it honestly welds really nice. I dare say MUCH...

7018, 6011, 6013, 7014 I didn't need to buy the 6013, as I forgot I already had a box of 3/32. Oh well, two lifetime supply's now... Any welding can be frustrating as a beginner. I'd recommend some hands on instruction to get you going, and pointed in the right direction with some direct...

I actually laughed when I pulled it out of the box. I don't know what's inside yet (I'm going to peak later), but I'm pretty sure it's magic.

I've had this thing in my Amazon cart for months. Curious, but very skeptical about it's quality. It went on sale this week for $89 so I figured what the hell, I've blown $100 on dumber stuff before.... First impressions are that it's hilariously tiny. The stinger is decent for the price...

    The Faller Came Early

Big tree, dropping went great, but I got very uncomfortable by how slowly he got through that back cut..... I've got a big white pine that size hanging over my house that needs to come down. I might actually hire that one out......maybe....

    12-11-10-9-8 just for fun

I have a terrible memory for #'s, But I wanna say Mid - low 11's? 11.3-11.5 I think was the best I ever cracked off on my bike. They gave us the slips at the shack, but I have no idea where they ever got to. Stuffed in my leathers and lost to time. The road course was always more fun to me...
