Calculate proper radius for scalloping with boring head

I always liked using the fixed jaw of the vise when setting (trying) to a number. Pick up the jaw with an edge finder, move over the radius, Insert the boring head and adjust until tooltip just touches jaw. You're pretty close there depending on stick and how the cutter cuts. Maybe 1-1.5"...

Welcome to Westwood Metalworks, What is he building in there?

I like that pepper idea. Might be worth a try. I'll pick some up tomorrow but also set a smaller trap too.

Was last down that way last summer. Was just talking to My Dad and Sister this morning, trying to plan something for August. I'll let you know. Hopefully I'll get a chance to sneak over and rearrange some of your piles for you this time :D. Tough to plan anything with my work schedule right now.

    Product Anchor Lube...

I've been using anchor lube for a bit recently. Not bad. I like the thicker viscosity for sticking to taps sometimes. I still have a large supply of rapid tap for steel, and a9 for aluminum though. But the anchor lube has it's place, where I'd pick it instead. I haven't done enough with it...
