  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. Shop it seems simple, but I need help........ Hammer organization

I already have too many piles and not enough surfaces. Currently I can't get to the surface of the welding bench, or the table saw. A pile of hammers is a little intriguing, I wonder how high the pile would be if I brought them all to one place..... steel-toe mandatory area for sure. Watch for...

Shop it seems simple, but I need help........ Hammer organization

At least you can see the spectrum of hammers at a glance. The one I want is always hidden in the back-bottom corner of the drawer, even if I can see it I gotta move several others to get at it. Really ?

@Elektrishun A great list of some of societies more recent failures! The last heated side mirror replacement on my old truck was a dollar store mirror cut to shape with a custom heating element of nichrome wire that I calculated, cut to length and then stuck on the back with JB-weld. It worked...

    Really ?

^This is the very reason I absolutely dread having to replace any of our vehicles. I do NOT want a touch-screen, I do NOT want an infotainment system, I do NOT want lane departure warnings, I do NOT want a vehicle with a wifi or cellular link, I do not want a phone app for my vehicle. Just...
