    Getting started.

The place I purchased from is trying to get me to sign up for cloud 3d print as a slicer. Is it a decent starting point? I'm hoping to learn all about fusion 360 as a cad program to design ideas, if that makes a difference to which slicer is best to use. Ken

    Getting started.

I have a box of receipts from my purchases going back 25 years. I'm even scared to tally it. I'm also the only one that knows it's location!

Thanks for the guidance. My wife reads my posts on here and values the info from the members. Your approval helps me sell the ideas. She says y'all seem like nice people. I'm ordering right away, Thanks, Ken

After all the great info in the Prusa xl discussion, I've been looking and decided on the Ender 3 pro. It's $16 more than the basic 3 model, and I get the upgraded frame, printing plate, and it's still fully upgradable to my understanding. I'm just checking with you guys that this is a good...

    New prusa xl

I've been reading about different 3d printers, and this Prusa seems like it would be a good one to grow with. Would it be a decent machine to start learning on? I don't have any 3d print experience. Ken I'm thinking about this as a " Buy once, Cry once " expenditure.

    Tool Weighing and accuracy

Sorry for being part pf the BIG swing off topic Janger. My thoughts on the torque driver : I think paying more to ensure repeatable accuracy and ease of getting the tool calibrated would be well worth it in the long run. I have a Wheeler Fat wrench that I'm happy with for mounting scopes...

    Tool Weighing and accuracy

Morning all, I wonder if an accurate voltage stabilizer would help to keep a digital powder scale (or any electronic scale) more consistent. Many years ago I tried reloading when I was away working to pass any extra time. It ended up being too frustrating. I couldn't use a digital scale as...

    CNC kit for bench mill.

Thanks Tom. I think hand controlled power feeds will be best too. Happy Holidays

    CNC kit for bench mill.

I was thinking late last night, and I didn't think about writing all the G code?? Needed. I think that would slow me way down. Powerfeeds with manual control over them is a better option. Guess I was kinda thinking out loud so to speak when I wrote this. Ken
