    Air compressor not restarting

Yes the size will be marked. Watch the video on how to test. IIRC you have a Fluke77? If so I'm not sure what series? I think the series IV has a capacitance range, not sure about the previous versions. To test it properly you will need a DMM with a capacitance selection.

I'm still betting on the capacitors.

    Air compressor not restarting

I would get someone to activate the power while you observe the startup and run. A bad run capacitor in an AC motor can lead to several issues, including reduced motor performance, overheating, and even motor failure. The motor may run slower, vibrate, hum, or have trouble starting. It can also...

    Air compressor not restarting

Might want to check the capacitor(s) Just take all safety precautions; lockout the power, and then discharge the caps, both before you disconnect them and then just before you measure them. I'm always extra electrically cautious when working outside and especially with a 240V, 30A source.

    2002 VW Golf refurb

Rewind 9 years our kids were in high school and just started driving. We had to pay a fair bit for school bus service so decided to put that $ towards a used car for each one. After a fair bit of searching I found two near identical very low mileage 2005 Corolla LEs. Seemed senseless to get...

    Briggs p2200 generator

I have a similar generator Coleman but larger (6000) with B&S engine. It was free abandoned at the curb on garbage day three doors down. Looked pretty much new probably used once but old gas. Cleaned the carb and I have now used it about 10 times. Starts okay. Very noisy. I don't trust it, just...

    Drilling with the cross slide

Before I had CNC capability I usually used the Stefan leave it engaged method. Now with CNC, the process is automated so just watch and squirt a little cutting fluid as required.

Tools you waited too long to acquire

No smell. I also have 5 of the mini/stuby sets; nutdrivers, Allen drives, screwdrivers etc. none of them smell, but they are all most likely decades old. The small sets are in a drawer at my electronics bench where I use them all the time.
