Had mine updated last year. Funny thing the father inlaw, Charlie, lived with us when my son was around 4 or 5. Charlie sired 7 kids and when my son came down with the mumps no big deal just ran it's course however Charlie swole up like a fall chipmunk and was sick as dog. Somehow he had...

A near miss and big consequences

My understanding is for people born after 1970 they should consider themselves "Not" immune and those born before 1970 are considered immune.

@Dabbler I hope you are feeling better and on the mend. Since the China Cough I am very cautious as to what vaccines I get. I had the original China Cough just before the great shutdown it was damn nasty and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. I figure I got it at one of the hospitals up in...

Totally Agree. My attitude is the climate has been in consistent flux since it was created. Until China and India reduce their emissions we could live like cave men and it still wouldn't be enough to make a dent or appease the tree huggers. When I can grow pineapples on the back 40 then I might...

    Real estate listings suck

Can you imagine what would happen if the interest rate went to nearly 30 percent in I think like it was in 1980. But back then if you had no debt you could only get a mortgage equal to 3 times your salary. Once upon a time I would say get a university education now when the topic comes up I say...

    Real estate listings suck

I am old enough to remember that you go married saved a couple of years and took out a 20 or 25 year mortgage. Then up sized as needed or wanted, then when you were ready or wanted to retire the house was paid for. Now it will take 25 years to save the down payment just in time for retirement...
