    Need a TIG! Any advice.

Everlast welders are excellent value and are getting good reviews on customer support which is usually the first thing that suffers on lower priced welders. The AlphaTig (I'll attach an amazon link below) is another low cost option with good reviews. I considered this one but opted to go...

    Clear coat on bare metal?

Janger, here is a vid on how to use Penetrol for clearcoating. I think it's the cheapest way to clearcoat easily. This is source for permalac in Canada. Expensive but works really well. http://www.sculpturesupply.com/list.php?sf=subcategory&vl=Permalac+EF+Sealer&cat=Sealers+%26+Releases I...

    Clear coat on bare metal?

Don't know about auto clearcoat, but I used permalac clearcoat on my latest table and I've heard good reviews about the longevity. I don't have first hand experience with it til now. Federal doesn't sell stainless as far as I know so Samuels is your best bet and I've had a good experience with them.

    Replacement bandsaw blades

I ordered it on Tuesday and it was ready for pick up on Thursday. Pretty awesome for a custom blade. I got the Diamaster 2, 10-14tpi Variable. I've cut square tubing with it, angle, 1/4 flat bar, solid stock. Works great on all of them so far.

    Replacement bandsaw blades

So, the Lenox blade is amazing. Already doubled the amount of cuts as compared to the stock carbon blade and its just getting better after the blade got broken in. Happy customer here.

    Replacement bandsaw blades

I ordered two blades from Thomas Skinner. $23.55 per blade for the Lenox Diemaster 10-14TPI Variable. The make them in Richmond and is usually a two day turnaround. I've been told 10-14TPI is a good blade for general mild steel square and round tubing .065" to .250". Thoughts?

    Replacement bandsaw blades

Awesome. Thanks Alexander. I'll give them a shout tomorrow as I'd like to get back to my project ASAP as the stock carbon blade lasted maybe 10 cuts of square tubing.
