  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. Supplies In Search Of: 1 x M14x1.5 hex nut in Calgary

You could try NAPA, LORDCO, or any other auto parts store. If you can’t get one in Cowtown, you could drive out to my place as I have them in my Metric bolt bin.

    ER40 collet chuck

I bet the others (45T and compound gear 86T/91T) are all M1.5 as well. It matters not what Module or DP the gears are; only that meshing gears are the same. On my SM1340 Metric, the gear train required DP16s & DP24s in the gear train to cut Imperial threads. It does have 60T (indicated by...

    Surface Grinder Cross-feed Nut

Good stuff Stell. Glad you are making progress. BBQs work well for that sort of stuff too, in case the Better Half objects to “stinky machine parts in the house”. Don’t blame her really, old CI can off gas for a long time when heated, even after a thorough cleaning.
