Has Anyone Been to Grizzly Warehouse in Bellingham, Washington?

I did a visit to Grizzly showroom; like many others, was giddy to get there and I planned a stop-by on the way to Van. Island. Have to say I was glad I used my own eyes but for not the reasons I expected: 1) not nearly the amount of metalworking equipment I thought there would be on display...

Threaded rod and other fasteners for sale

I have a number of threaded steel rods for sale, both new and 2nds available. 2nds are in stock, new rod has to be pre-paid/ordered (available 1-5 business days). Cutting to specific lengths is also available at an extra cost (pre-paid, also). All rods have been stored in-doors/temperature...

    Sourcing Metal | General Discussion

If anyone is looking for threaded rod in Calgary, drop me a PM. I've gotten a supplier that can get bare metal, zinc plated, (common) acme, B7-hardness and SAE and METRIC threads. Right-hand thread mostly; 3 to 12 foot lengths (depends on material). Prices on the most-common sizes e.g...

To Anyone that buys from ENCO in US..

I had a bit of hassle on the Enco40/MSC code they recently sent out but got it fixed. Placed my (final) order and spent a bit too much ;). Even with the frequent discounts that MSC sends out, their 'list prices' are just too high and I don't buy enough to warrant an on-going discount with...

BEWARE! Travelling machine salesperson selling 'discounted' equipment

I personally have a very low tolerance for deception and classify this sales approach as such. Indeed, I've knowingly bought cheap/lookalike tooling before...and typically regretted it ->my fault But this is a case of misrepresentation and the tools aren't even cheap. I'm not going to post a...

BEWARE! Travelling machine salesperson selling 'discounted' equipment

Found an ad in Kijiji about some company allegedly selling off new machinery for '60% off'. Contacted the guy about a mill/drill and he said 'yeah, economy is bad so we're blowing out a bunch of equipment. Great prices...we just need to reduce our inventory'. Brand of the equipment is...

To Anyone that buys from ENCO in US..

(ground UPS) Shipping with Enco was typically free within US and promo codes went as deep as 30% plus they had monthly sales and allowed you to stack discounts. In some cases, my landed cost was almost 1/2 of KBC including exchange. I will admit waiting for a sale, driving 3 hrs to pick up and...

ISCAR Carbide parting tool and holder

This is a serious piece of kit; requires a 1" lathe tool holder to mount the block. $400 new....asking about 1/4 of that. I've posted an ad online so I dont have to repeat everything http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1180258549&posted=true&adActivated=true Any serious lathe guys...
