Controlling the mice population in our backyard

I park my trailer at a provincial park for the summer. The bucket traps are very effective, and can catch a ton of them. Some fridays aren't fun emptying them though, especially if its been hot out. Don't ever have one inside, and box it completly in with rocks. Skunks will chew through them to...

Aluminum wire going to make a comeback?

I see the wow face @Elektrishun , but an apprentice on a residential job was killed here when his forehead brushed a live 120v hot. So it is just as deadly, and i've heard the argument that a 120v poke is deadlier than 240v and above because it won't throw you off.

Aluminum wire going to make a comeback?

I used #6 aluminum ACWU (similar to teck cable), to feed my small shop, and to feed the two sub panels in my big shop, and to feed my big lathe. Of course, noalox on all the connections, and properly torqued. No issues passing inspection. My main 200A service is fed with 4/0 aluminum, no...

    Rock Tumbler

Surgical tubing would probably work. Maybe silicone fuel line from a small engine shop.

You still on the fence to get a 3d printer?

I'm doing the airlines in my shop. Ran short of pex hanger clips. Quick trip to the printer and a fresh batch is being printed as we speak. So handy to have around.
