Yes. He is taking a break for his own reasons. Many of us miss him so I hope he returns at some point in the future.

Tool Vevor Drill Bit Sharpener Improved

I'm sorry Barry, my old age memory screwed me over again. I was confusing the A & B with the C. Vevor doesn't sell a C - at least not here in Canada. However The point is still the same though. Setting the names and numbers aside, all those different models seem to be very similar. It's a dogs...

    Real estate listings suck

2%???? I wish! Around here, they get 7%. Usually that is split between buying and selling agents, but they play games with that too. And for 100k, you can't even buy a minimum lot without a house on it anymore. It's highway robbery.

    Really ?

That would be me too in my 20s. I really disliked that law. Then I had the great displeasure of learning about how seat belts work first hand. The facts, the science, and the dead bodies were really ugly. I rather quickly became a believer. Like you, I'm happy to have had "the education" early...

    Really ?

As long as you express that as your opinion, I think that's ok. On the other hand, if you want to take the position that your opinion is more valid than the opinions of others for whatever reason, then we are suddenly debating policy - which we cannot do here. I really would welcome that...

    Really ?

Perhaps. Let's just agree that we did. Agreed Totally agree. But that is motorcycles and vehicles. I support that law. I was talking bicycle Helmuts, not motorcycles. As far as I know, there is no consensus there when it comes to adults. There is some consensus around children who are much...

    My weekend score

I put this list of drawbar threads together for myself a while back. I welcome additions and changes. 7/16"-20 UNF: This is by far the most common drawbar thread for R8 spindle's. 3/8"-16 UNC: This thread is also found on some R8 spindles, particularly on older or smaller R8 machines...

    Happy Fathers Day

^this - my sentiments EXACTLY @slow-poke . My "good one" was a bosche, until I got a Starrett. Now all my tap wrenches are Starrett. The only one I'm still missing is the biggest one. It's on my "priority shopping" list. Edit - I have the D. Apparently, it might be the biggest one. If so, I...

    Really ?

There is an element of truth to that. But I have been intimately involved in the injury studies, the product development, the testing, the regulatory side of it, and the public education programs. I even did some of the train the trainer work for St John Ambulance (who train other trainers)...
