  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Tool Let's Get This Started - Tool Test Tuesday

But dogs and cats are both pets and animals and mammals and furry and have four legs and like eating meat....they are more similar than different. Putting things back in their drawers (or bins or shelves) just resets everything back to known state each day. I also don't have the luxury of...

Tool Let's Get This Started - Tool Test Tuesday

I pretty much always put everything away each day when I'm done working, so it's easy to keep pliers from disappearing to the void that way. Knipex stuff is pretty awesome, I think everyone should have pliers wrench, twin grips, and their compact bolt cutters...and maybe cobra's, but they are...

    Locked Cabinets At Canadian Tire

I've long since stopped shopping at Canadian Tire...the closest one to me is just so junky, the customer service is completely gone, and the warranty on mastercraft isn't worth its weight in Canadian Tire money, there's just no point.

Tool Let's Get This Started - Tool Test Tuesday

Here's one that's more relavant to folks around here, given the metalworking aspects: Honestly impressed with how well it works, depending on belt life, I might switch to one of these over an angle grinder for cleanups before welding..it's just so nice and quiet and easy to control!

Trying out a Ridgid wet tile saw....only other ridgid tool I've ever owned is a shop vac, which was great for the price, but the tile saw is a new one:
