  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans.     I printed it out and glued in some basic PA 18mm x 4mm magnets. Voila - it works. I demagnetized the below screw driver with it in an instant. The screwdriver could pick up the little 3mm ID bearing before as shown on the shaft and after demag it appeared to be completely non-magnetic.

    Well if it is to be drilled on my mill the simplest solution is the all the bolt hole positions in X and Y coordinates from an origin, the centre is probably best.

    Shop air required. Probably dry shop air and lots of it. are electromechanical solenoids a substitute for air pistons?

    @calgaryguy hey Chris I could CAD up a drawing for you and we could potentially drill those bolt holes on my mill. If you wanted to draw the part with dimensions on paper and post pictures I expect it would be quick. And then I could see the machine work?
