    CA-BC New Busy Bee Website

You aren't wrong in the fact their service has gone from bad to worse! I don't even shop there anymore except for minor items like abrasive paper or cutting oil, everything else is junk! And no disrespect to those that do, their machines are great for the hobbyist but things like Endmills and...

LMAO, well that's what I did! Worked for 35 years and I considered it a craft session mixed with social hour! If it weren't for pesky customers getting in the way of my social time, wanting their stuff I'd still be there. I retired at 52 a few years ago.

    Large scale Tourbillon

Thanks wmetfab! In total I estimate about 300 hours, given that I had such a learning curve to understand how it worked in the first place, combined with having to make tools first. I've had many offers from reel collectors to buy it but it's something I thought would look nice on my desk so...

    Large scale Tourbillon

It wasn't too hard actually. I custom ground a HSS parting tool and took it slow. The face of the pinions gets a bit burred up but they need facing/full length sizing anyway so they get flipped in a soft jaw chuck for the second side operations.
