Mounting A Kappa Box On My KLR650

I have a nice Kappa 42 litre K-Force top case for my Suzuki DL1000. I wanted to be able to use it on the KLR650 as well so I made an aluminium plate for the KLR rack to install the box. It was a bit of a process. I went to the local aluminium welding shop and they gave me a piece of 3/16" plate...

WTB Reliable small truck or car. Calgary Area?

From my experience dealers do not like working on older vehicles. Also dealers are a lot more expensive than private shops. One thing I would try before you let them try locate the noise is remove the belt then run the engine and see if the noise is still there.

    UPS gripe

Is there a good shipper in Canada? Between Purolator and Fedex we had three recent parcels damaged. A large flat box crushed with a boot print on it another parcel crushed with a tire print on it and some small steel hydraulic lines that were shrink wrapped to a 8' 2x4 somehow they broke the 2x4.

It had an odd thread it appeared to be a 1mm thread pitch but cut on a .250" diameter rod as far as I could tell. Our lathe could not cut a metric...

    Mounting A Kappa Box On A KLR650

I have a nice Kappa 42 litre K-Force top case for my Suzuki DL1000. I would like to be able to use it on my KLR650 as well. I don't like the plastic adaptors that are available and if an aluminium is available it will be $250 so I made my own out of 3/16" aluminium plate. I set it up in my mill...
