    Power probe (keep it clean)

True, and for fixing chicken lights, I usually pull the panel off the truck and use a battery charger. I made up some dummy pigtails that plug right in, it isolates the lights away from the truck. It's providing a constant power and ground And yep, I have a headlight with a dummy plug just...

    Power probe (keep it clean)

Got talked into buying this, likely going to try using it tomorrow. It can send power or ground, depending on what the goal is I have one beacon not working, so as an example, I can isolate the beacon, and help diagnose if the beacon is dead, lacks power, or lacks ground. I've been warned...

    Rust is the Enemy

You know the lightbulb in the fridge trick for welding rods? Same idea, someone tried it on a couple trailers but the boxes don't have the insulation to allow the lightbulb to do anything, temp wise

Made in Canada Grohmann Knives. Is a knife a tool?

I've got a couple, a #1 and a #3. I like that they look "old timey", perfect for the belt to hang a loading block from

    Rust is the Enemy

I don't remember if I asked here or somewhere else- my truck saddle boxes are sealed. They make a lot of condensation. I've asked people about adding a vent before, and the consensus at the time was a small hose wouldn't move enough air to help. Friend of mine was looking for some straps last...

    What Are These?

Somebody told me riding in the bed of a pickup was illegal now? My reply, I hope it is and hopped in anyway. Good grief :D

    UPS gripe

At one of the border crossings they have MTO stationed right in front of the booths, coming into Canada. Then, having dinner, noticed a horse cop getting fuel, which I've never seen in that area. OPP have jurisdiction usually, but if it's to do with the border that's federal so it makes sense...

    Navigating Tariffs Together

One thing I recently learned was it's a federal law for Canadian packaging to be bilingual? A couple years back a company stopped shipping up here because they refused to change their labelling to include French. So tariffs aside, that would be another factor on higher prices up here

    DavidR8's shop shenanigans

I like the large airline fittings, P? I'd have to go look One of the tool truck guys said you can wreck air tools by not giving them enough air, I do not know if that's true I made a couple adapters and for small tools that don't need extra air I can still run them But now everyone is...

    Navigating Tariffs Together

But it goes both ways. The USA has a much larger market for us to sell to. Our products/agriculture/manufacturing travels hundreds of miles to get to the buyer Without skirting the no politics, I need to research why the free trade agreement hurt our manufacturing I can buy USA made chain, I...
