@Crosche recommended these guys to me. I haven't checked them out yet so I don't have any feedback, but maybe he can weigh in. https://nexusgrinders.ca/product/ng-3-belt-grinder/

Other Nitrile glove alternatives for allergy/sensitive skin?

I've started wearing disposable nitrile gloves more and more in the last year or two, and it seems that if my hands sweat in the gloves, I'll get itchy rashes on the backsides of my hands. From the research I've done, it looks like gloves with a 'colloidal oatmeal' layer have helped people with...

What did you do for a career and would you pick it again?

I haven't interpreted anything as engineer bashing and as the advice has been overwhelmingly to stick it out, I'd say perspective pointing the other way is still welcome! I've really enjoyed hearing about what everyone's careers. Now I need to get everyone's advice on a more important matter...

What did you do for a career and would you pick it again?

I agree, lots can be improved. I think we are the edge of breaking some site rules though so perhaps we should leave it at that lol

What did you do for a career and would you pick it again?

The whole education system is messed up, but I don't think the problem is people taking basket weaving classes. Most of an engineering degree is a also waste of time as far as what is actually used in your job. The actual benefits of undergrad apply regardless of discipline if one is taking it...

What did you do for a career and would you pick it again?

I'm still not convinced its worth it just for the sake of the title, but the current plan is to stick with it. Unrelated, I started on some ADHD medication for the first time in in my life recently, and that has made the job much more bearable so far. Clearly the answer all along was to do...

What did you do for a career and would you pick it again?

I know it definitely wouldn't hurt to get it, but If I hypothetically got a job offer today to live my dream as a plumber (LOL), would you still turn it down?

What did you do for a career and would you pick it again?

Thanks for the input everyone! I want to re-iterate that sticking with engineering is the current plan. To get my P.Eng, I will need some new job experience either way as I don't meet all the competencies laid out by APEGA. But for the sake of discussion, I am not convinced that sticking it out...
