    Missing Images....

I checked on my iPhone and the 'problem' images are visible; they are delivered in webp format. ChazzC's post (#26) shows two question-mark-rectangles for me on the Mac referencing webp format images. I am, however, running an older version of macOS (10.15.7). A random internet search...

    Missing Images....

It has been a couple of days...any update? In case I'm the only one, images don't display properly in posts since shortly after the forum upgrade. For example, in https://canadianhobbymetalworkers.com/threads/bridgeport-clone-700-aurora-on.11875/post-163198 I see the question mark icon...

    RF30 Mill/Drill Surprises

Another option is to fix up the RF-30, sell it and use the proceeds towards a square column mill. I get along OK with my round column but changing the belts is tiresome. I've found, with planning, I seldom need to move the head up or down during a sequence of operations. (Stubby drills make...

    RF30 Mill/Drill Surprises

I got my RF-30 about 6 years ago and the lever arm was the first things that needed fixed. The previous owner had bent the arm (at the hub) so that the arm was nearly broken off. I don't recall the exact sequence but I know I had thought the machine would be metric from top to bottom. My...

    RF30 Mill/Drill Surprises

My RF-30 is the same. There are even 1/2-12 threads on mine. (The 3 lever arms used for drilling.) Not 1/2-13 UNC. Not 12mm coarse. Oh no, that would be too easy. ;) Craig

    Dividing head restoration

Awesome, looks great. We are our own worst critics when comes to nit-picky details that any other (reasonable?) person would think is trivial. You've done just fine. BTW, I think you asked about a finish for the handle. From here, that looks like a nice old piece of blackwood or rosewood...

    Brent Builds!!

I wonder about putting the mill back to back with the 2 lathes. I presume you are supplying power from overhead? If so, 1 column or cluster of wires could supply the 3 machines. Plus the mill needs a lot of room left and right for maximum travel. If it is in the middle of the room, versus up...
