Calgary - Looking to borrow a bearing puller

I don't recall which one it was, but one of them felt like it had a rough spot.

Calgary - Looking to borrow a bearing puller

You can just drive them on with a hammer and a punch or as mentioned a socket that is a close fit to the inner race. Just don't hammer on the outer race.

    Cutaway engine

Thanks to John for the Honda engine he was generous enough to part with for this project. I have a nephew who is quite keen about cars driving and all related things so wanted to help him learn a bit more about the workings of a gas engine. I picked this engine up a couple weeks ago and worked...

    wire crimp education

I honestly would not expect to get great results with those insulated connectors no matter what crimpers you use. Those are the bargain basement of wiring terminals. FREE Honda GX200 Engine - Less than 20 hrs of Use

Thanks John for the little Honda engine. Should make a good learning tool. It looks like repair parts are scarce or obsolete for those engines so it will not likely be a runner ever again. Might toy with turning it into a cut-away model.

Pistons are often a complex geometry to account for heat expansion. Not typically a straight forward round plug. Not that it could not be done, but not easy.

FREE Honda GX200 Engine - Less than 20 hrs of Use

That would be very cool. Send me a PM with your details and I'll figure out a time to pick it up.

FREE Honda GX200 Engine - Less than 20 hrs of Use

I have been looking for an inexpensive small engine to work on with my nephew to teach him about how they work if anyone has something kicking around. Not really fussy about what brand or such, running would be nice, but not critical. This one probably would have been more than I need.

Milling machine replace a drill press?

Drill press is often quicker and easier for some jobs. I do most of my metal drilling work on my mill except those jobs where precision is not a big deal or where its just simpler to go without a vise or other means of work holding. My Drill press is largely reserved for my woodworking. Woodwork...
