  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area.     Why not cut a few saddles out of wood and bolt them together so that you have a flat-frame that will sit in the bed of your pickup ? That would ensure a secure place for the tanks during transport.

    Keep experimenting. I wanted to develop roll forming for making corrugated HDPE pipe years ago. The pipe mould shapes were to be made from extruded aluminum and fitted with roll formed sections to suit the corrugation profile. Higginson Inc in Hamilton used to deal in lots of roll forming...

    Calf Carrier

    You might want to get some OLD shag carpet and wrap it around the contact area of the tubes. Duct Tape ’or‘ Anchor the carpet pieces to the frame with FHCS. Be careful you don’t create any ‘pinch’ points for the calve. (I wrestled with a few hundred calves when I was younger)
