  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year.     Junk yard haul

    I had to dump old stove and some steel, so made a trip to the junk yard. Here are some goodies Franken cart/dolly/lift - I was looking for quite some time for that type of shop cart/lift. This one is in poor shape - bended from lifting overweigh rusted, jammed. But it has a potential :)...

    Calculate proper radius for scalloping with boring head

    Well. It is indeed practice with practical goal. I was thinking about some sort of sharp tip scribble mounted in the mill boring head (make sure it has the same outreach as cutter) , lower it to the alum plate make drag it over to make marks and adjust radius. Then change it to real cutter.
