I think you're right, if I had a 28 tooth gear I could get the M1.75 thread. This the entire threading chart.

I've been doing some math (always dangerous for me) and came up with the following non standard gear arrangement that will get me 14.4tpi. 40 teeth on top and 32 on the bottom both meshed with the 127. Selectors set to B-C-2. I don't know if that's close enough to 14.5tpi to be workable but...

1.75mm is .06895" so 1/.06895=14.503 TPI but my lathe can't do 14.5 TPI either. My lathe came with 25, 30, 32, 40, and 50 tooth change gears, Maybe some combination that's not listed would result in 14.5 TPI

Yes that's what is in the Precision Matthews (PM1440HD) manual, the manual I got from Modern is pretty much useless. I haven't done all the math to determine what the unlisted gear combinations will do but one thing that annoys me is there is no 1.75mm thread listed for the GH lathe. I had to...

Since your chuck key is priced significantly higher than most others on Amazon I would suggest you attach a video to your Amazon listing showing it's advantages over regular keys...

A small request: does this forum have friends from the United States?

There are quite a few sizes, maybe based on where the chuck was made. My lathe came with a 150mm 3 jaw chuck and a 200mm 4 jaw, I also have a 200mm 3 jaw chuck that I purchased separately. Both of the 3 jaw chucks use a 12mm key and the 4 jaw uses a 10mm key. All 3 chucks were made in China or...

I've never heard of a planetary reduction being used on the cross feed. Is that a feature on some brands of machines?
