    Tesla Cybertruck Has Evolved!

Are the pink bins the ones you just throw all you have, in to, on the expectation that it will turn out alright?

External Jaws for a 3 jaw

Nah. The smart money, is gonna be to use what you have, and keep an eye peeled for a decent chuck with reversible jaws! Might not be a bad thing to put out a few feelers among your local suppliers, as well as watching some of the more 'non-consumer' oriented Auction markets. Never know when just...

I should have picked so well! I got the OCD model with a side of suicide threats! I wouldn't wish it on anyone...

External Jaws for a 3 jaw

One of the 'available' things I never quite pulled the trigger on, though tempted, was a set of Soft Jaw Bases, essentially a set of chuck jaws with the tops shaved off flat, and a couple bolt holes to be able to bolt on any manner of suitable raw stock which could then be bored or machined, to...

Edmonton. Thomas Skinner and Sons is worth a visit, mainly to see how the big guys run. Most of the machine tool supply places are chasing the Oil Patch money harder than the rest, though a few places are/were ( I moved to Cold lake in 2004! But still shopped there till 2012) still willing to...

Never was actually able to get the Mute Button to work on mine, either! The difference between 'wife' and 'wood'? You can stabilize Wood! :P

External Jaws for a 3 jaw

I honestly don't think you will be regretful for the money spent. Even, in the odd off chance, if you have to make some fairly major mods to the Jaw surfaces to make them work, I think it'll be worth it. For what it's worth, I would suggest digging through Stefan Gotteswinter's YouTube...

    Alberta Metal Enthusiast's Network (Edm)

I am glad to see that the A.M.E.N. guys are still a thing! I was involved starting in the very early 2000's, back when Robert Grauman was one of the pivotal guys in the center of keeping us all about as confused as each other! LOL! David Pape kinda scares me! Dayyuum! Mad talents! :D

External Jaws for a 3 jaw

A hundred bucks doesn't get a fella very far these days... FWIW, I went down that same shiny path a fair few years ago, bought a new-in-the-wrap Pratt-Burnerd Gri-Tru, with a Myford back plate, at an auction, that had had the outside jaws sitting next to it on the table. The Jaws were not there...

    Multitools

My two cases are just plain ol' pouches for the multi-tool only. Both mine have cut corners, rather than the current formed pouch that these ones shown have. Not sure what I paid exactly, I had ordered a VERY heavy leather belt, plus the two cases a few years back.
