End of our backyard chicken experiment.

Yeah, crappy about the hawk cleaning you out. I had Salmon Faverolle chickens for a bunch of years, they were about the most laid back lot you can imagine, and came in a flurry of wings and legs, when we called for them, to give treats of scratch feed. Had a couple bad years, lost all my...

    Found at the Dump

Not to put too fine a point upon it, but in a LOT of cases, the concerns of the people that are labeled with that tag, are simply well aware that, for instance, placing a half-way house for sexual predators, or Housing for the Homeless, in their neighborhoods, will have a distinctly Negative...

    Found at the Dump

Yeah, I have scrounged some pretty great stuff at the Dump. Like, about an ounce and a half of gold, chucked away because the owner could not, apparently, be bothered to untangle the tied up mess that the neck chains were in. Took me about three minutes... Antique oil lamps, badly converted...

    Inexpensive Tig welders

That pretty much describes the efforts of about every person I have ever seen, starting out in TIG! Face it. It's a Skill! You don't start out ANY skill, being good at it. But the folks that are capable of seeing both their own weaknesses, and their own strengths, are gonna do just fine! Same...

    Whelp, there goes the neighborhood.

I got $20 that says you can't figure out what I left in your yard last night! The lights look good though! LOL!

    Travelling to Mexico

Yeah, this. Based upon my experiences in Jamaica, skip the whole "local currency" thing, and stick to what has actual value to the locals! As above, lots of small denominations. Anything big can likely be paid for with any Debit card (handy at the very least for conversion rates), but a fella...

    Tool Solid Rivets

My training in running either end of a solid rivet (bucking bar, or Rivet gun) tells me that it takes a fair bit of experience, to get anything like a consistent result. Sorta like the kid who asked a guy on the streets how he could get to Carnegie Hall.... "Practice!" We drove, quite...

    Cherry Hill

Damn. I think I would have been pretty honored to buy her a drink! Had I ever met her! I have 50+ year of Model Engineer magazine, to show what she was able to do. Amazing things!

    Tesla Cybertruck Has Evolved!

Figure you are right about that. The cyber truck is going to be as important to the grand scheme, as the Segway.
