Sticky What Machines Do You have?

Wow, I just realized today that I had not shared in this thread like everyone else has, even after years of lurking here, lol. So to be fair, thus far this is what is in my (currently unfinished new) shop, in various states of repair: Functional (once drywall and wiring in): - First LC-1-1/2...

    ER40 D1-4 Collet Chuck Question

I've seen this adjustable one as well as the HHIP non adjustable ones, but decided not to buy one at this point. I would like to make one for myself as it sounds like an interesting challenge and the fun budget seems to be needed for other equipment first. My hope is that if the chuck is made...

    Miller Thunderbolt

We had one similar to that in the school shop where I taught. Very tough machines, they can survive a ton of abuse and mistakes. Believe me, my students were not easy on it. Totally worth keeping that one!

Lubrication, oils and oil equivalency table

I agree, @Dabbler - I've emailed a few times with Andrew from Evolvent and he even sent me a used Jacobs chuck as well as the plans and materials for his chuck disassembly tools. Very cool guy. Once my shop is going again that chuck project is on the to do list. It is very handy that he has...

Surface grinder, height gauge and a few other things.

Even if it's a tool cutter grinder and not a surface grinder, that was a heck of a haul for a great price!
