    New to me mill

Awesome! I had a mill-drill (Craftex equivalent to your King) and did a lot of fun work with it. I actually would have kept it if I had the space at the time. For their size they can punch above their weight if used correctly. Nice that you got the R8 spindle too, more accessories seem to be...

    Torx vs Torx Plus

I first came across the Torx Plus rebuilding transmissions and transfer cases. Like a lot of systems, at least it is still a standardized system even if it means buying more tools off the tool truck. What threw me was the "triple square" socket head cap screws on German cars, which of course...

    Mill quill dro

I put a cheap caliper on my old mill drill, much like you did, bit took my approach from Marc L'Ecuyer. I splurged to get the kit from KBC for the new-to-me mill, but even on sale it was a bit ouchy to the pocketbook. Still haven't put DRO on anything else otherwise. Yet, lol. Your install...

And Grandpa is his hero, I'm willing to bet! Nice looking replacement part, much stronger than OEM!

    Mystery Shaper rejuvenation

This will be interesting to follow, mine was beaten and neglected but yours is certainly a taller challenge than mine was. I went for the functional route vs concourse restoration as well. It will be cool seeing chip-slinging pics of these after the pics of teardown, repairs, and coming back...
