  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. Tool Tooling up a milling machine

If your noticing vibration at 3700RPM with a side lock holder, then I would indicate the holder, but it really sounds to me like you have other issues if that's the case... On a side note, I certainly wouldn't use anything but shrink fit on a multi axis mill for many, many reasons... No ER...

I don't find this to be an issue in 3/8 diameter's and up. It really depends on what style endmill you buy . Although, we would just make up a 2flt on the decal, use a larger diameter blank, neck the shank back...

Put-r-ther! Some seen it coming, the general population has been out of touch. I hope the old/new bird flu doesn't get us next haha. You know what direction to start peddlin' in, if need be, which is half the battle. I'm sure you will find that opportunity if/when the time comes. Jus'...

    3D Scanning large Boats

Its happening all around us Dan. We ride the highs and peddle through the lows. It's the build back better world approach as you probably know. Some shops are crazy busy, some are not so fortunate. Hang in there, its going to be a bumpy ride through 2023-24

Hi do you have a tip how to expand a stainless steel pipe

You can heat it up and try that, however, its best to know what material you are working with for the application. For example; 316, 304 type SS's will create some scaling and oxidization, where as 330 resists this to a point when heating. If you have a smaller cutoff to test, that is where I...
