  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

    Thanks for the offer!! I will review your posts for sure. Not sure if I’m driving down though! I do understand machine. I did it along time ago. Has plans to be a tool and die guy then life intervened. Back to it now. And yes …… some t-nuts will be early on rhe list.

    I just picked up an RF45 clone this weekend!!! its is rather heavy....removed the head to get it moved with an engine hoist and a a 1 ton chain winch at the sellers site and my tractor on my end. Lots of basic tooling as well. it runs nice and the gearbox sounds healthy....time for an oil...

    Yes I hear you. It’s pretty grimy. You would think that if they had a bit of pride in it, they would at least clean it up. 6.5 hour drive. I’ll keep looking.
