    Wild Honey Bee Swarm

As you know I'm not a bee expert but if/when you find one I can almost guarantee they will talk your ear off about bees and provide all the info you could ever want and then some. I've known/know a few bee enthusiasts/experts before and each and every one of them had that characteristic. Now...

    First crash

Well parting tools certainly can make a difference but make sure you've got all the basics covered first...angles, rigidity, speed, feed, lube, etc. The smaller the lathe the more important all those items are.

    Tool DCMT & brass

Ha ha it's good to see others enjoy the same sort of thing as I do. I have a coil of brass probably 9 ft long on my shop wall as I thought it was beautiful in itself. I was using an "Eccentric" tangential diamond tool holder to make the cut and that tool doesn't have a chip breaker on it so...

I don't remember if it was the first dose of the vaccine or the second but one of them knocked me on my keester! Very rough 3 days I believe. The other dose was unpleasant for me...

    Whisk(e)y, wine and cheese!

No it certainly will not be good, well not until after 4 drinks or more of it then it starts to get really quite good. It then becomes delightful for the rest of the evening, but by mid morning the next day you'll swear it was dirty wool sock wash that some toothless cigar smoking hobo gargled...

    Solitary Bee House

That was fast! I've had ZILLIONS of bees around my trees the last 10 days or so and as far as I can tell none of them have even given my new bee box a sniff yet.

    Shoulder check

Ya don't worry motorcycles don't usually cause any damage to your vehicle. JUST KIDDING!!!

    Shoulder check

I've got neck and spine problems and I don't shoulder check as fully or often as I should. I've pulled in front of someone more than once but thankfully haven't caused an accident. I'm teaching my kids to drive and am trying to stress the importance of a good shoulder check. "Don't do as your...
