How to dress a diamond edge cutting wheel

Thanks for posting the video and the time marker. Interesting, it makes sense, being such a fine grit they would have a tendency to plug up. I will have to look into if there is a dressing stick for my CBN grinding wheel, it seems to have lost its bite. I have some diamond wheel which I can...

    Fixerup patch up

My neighbor ask if I could make him an attachment for his sawzall, to mount a round chainsaw file. I made it of a .080" scrap stainless steel sheet and a modified 1/2" bolt with .200" hole and two set screws to hold the file. I then silver soldered both parts together. It was a simple project...

    Replacing oil lines

I don't have a broach kit, never used one and looking at your last picture I realized you had to make a tapered plug to be able to use the broach. I totally overlooked that step of the process. Well done...

Link Belts - Type A or Type Z

Compared a new and the used belt on my mill. It is difficult to measure accurately , but visual I can tell the new belt is by about a 1/16" higher. I remember the belt needed to be adjusted a few times before it settled. Probably because it was not used much at full load. . The instructions...

Link Belts - Type A or Type Z

That is a good price, I remember paying close to $20/feet about 10 years ago for my Atlas 618. It does look a bit high on the pulley. They do wear in a bit. I had to adjust the link belt on my mill after a few hours of use. I will have a look at it tomorrow. I think have some spare new links...
