Schematics and Circuit Board layout with Fusion 360

Oh, I am such a sucker for one more project! And I haven't done any electronics (or software either for that matter) since I retired a couple of years ago. Yeah, sure put me down for one. But Just One ! Really! Don't try to convince me I need one for the lathe too!

Schematics and Circuit Board layout with Fusion 360

A major complaint about cutting threads entirely with dies is that they can't be guaranteed to be concentric and/or to not impart twist to the part, especially smallish ones. A way I have found to deal with the trade off between this and trying to single point threads on a clapped out lathe is...

Schematics and Circuit Board layout with Fusion 360

I think maybe, I'm another "solid maybe". By which I mean if a group thing goes forward I'd like to be kept in the loop. Or, @Tomc938 I might want one of your spare boards. I put a DRO from Ali express on the mill I sold before my last move, but don't have one yet on the mill I have now so...

I recently got a larger drill press, have realized what a pain my drill press vise is, and have decided I absolutely must have a floating vise. TubalCain, Blondi Hacks and others on the tube have descriptions of this basic design idea, which I plan to adapt to parts I already have and what I...

I'm going to try to check out Hardcore when I'm down that way next week. Sounded like they might at least have something I could make do with.

    Cast Bronze Plaques

Aluminum and alternatives are worth looking into, but I think the theft issue is mostly a matter of how they are attached. If it's going to take more the a few minutes to remove one I would think that would deter most thieves, especially in a well lighted, surveilled area that is posted as such...

98% of what I've used historically has been scrounged unknownium. I checked out Hard Core several years back when they were newish - nothing round at that time. "Can't get it" they said. I suspect that meant "not worth stocking it too little demand". Metal Supermarkets Hard Core Metals Cutter...
