Schematics and Circuit Board layout with Fusion 360

Anyone pursuing this? I'd populate a board for testing, but at the moment none of my machines even have scales, so I have no simple way to test. Where's the "Project Manager"? :p

Craftex 7x12 Band Saw $750 Lake Cowichan

I was lucky to find a 'like new' for a fair bit less than that about 5 years back and considered it a steal. Today they are about $100 under to a couple $100 over $2K, depending on where you buy them. Getting one of these and moving from the 4x6 was maybe one of the most impactful upgrades I've...

Welcome to Westwood Metalworks, What is he building in there?

Dead drive? I have taken to backing up on (count them!) 4 external devices (Paranoid? Me? Or just witnessed failures?). To be sure, I generally back up only stuff that would be a real pain to lose (financial records) but every time I update those I back them up. If I was really concerned I'd...

Craftex 7x12 Band Saw $750 Lake Cowichan

I have not seen this one, but I have what is probably the same saw under a different name (Magnum) . Compared to the 4x6 that so many have it is 100 times more capable. The quick adjust vise alone makes worlds of difference. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1601823400535525

    Tips/Techniques looking to identify lathe

Yes, Clear closer up photos would help. But knowing maker and history is unlikely to help you diagnose or fix it. You probably just gotta get in there with you wrenches and start digging! And perhaps photographing stages of the disassembly to aid in the reassembly.

Modern No.2 M.U. manual milling machine $2K Saanich

OK, I had to go look at this thing when I was in the Big City today. I have always had a soft spot for a mill that could be used both as a horizontal and a vertical. I was not able to tell from the original picture, but it is a full size machine. The guy says it weighs 3 tons, and I believe...
