    Looking for an insert

All of this talk about WNMG inserts has piqued my interest. Where can I find holders (3/8 or 10mm shank?) suitable for my little Myford S7? Accusize seems to have only huge (3/4" and 1" shank ones).

Buying socket head cap screws online

I've never had a problem convincing Fastenal to take my money. My annual purchases have varied from perhaps $25 to $2500. And mostly towards the lower!

+1 on their Loctite selection. Fastenal also sometimes has sales on non-screw stuff. For example, one of my Lista cabinets came from them at a very good price.

Tool Good Canadian source for Tormach TTS ER collet holders?

Yes, the stub of some of the cheap holders is not chamfered and that makes it a pain to insert. However, I simply secured a 3/8-dowel pin in the collet and chucked the dowel pin in the lathe and chamfered the stub. Mine were not particularly hard and I had no problems using a carbide insert.

Tool Good Canadian source for Tormach TTS ER collet holders?

The "wonky" holders are not a total loss. I use them for larger (>#7) drills where the runout is not so important. ER holders reduce needed Z-height plus even the bad ones are better than many cheap drill chucks.

Buying socket head cap screws online

I mostly buy Imperial from Fastenal since they have a local store. Setup an account; they frequently have clearance sales of slightly unusual stuff -- 4-40x3/8 BHCS for as I recall $0.01/each. I try to design around what I have in stock so I'm gradually going through my purchase of 2000 for $20...

Tool Good Canadian source for Tormach TTS ER collet holders?

I believe it currently has an insert for aluminum of which one edge has had light usage. I've been very happy with SEHT1204, supposedly Koroloy, via ebay. About $22 for 10. I haven't used this seller but something like https://www.ebay.ca/itm/285459512173

Tool Good Canadian source for Tormach TTS ER collet holders?

Studica doesn't appear to have real Tormach ER20 TTS holders. And their ER16 is "Request a quote". I've also been happy with my Accusize purchases but do they sell any TTS stuff? I've bought these https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B089YVGRDP/ and they don't have much more runout than genuine...
