  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year.     I've had surprisingly good luck welding cast with 309L stainless filler, both TIG and stick. I also use it when welding alloy steels. Basically, if the welds are cracking, use stainless filler. The low carbon content and (oddly) higher ductility make it quite forgiving.

    When I make a "major" mistake, I walk away. I need time to cool off and think about it before I attempt to correct/recover. Many times, while l lie awake in the middle of the night, the solution comes to me, and what had been a crisis becomes a minor detour.

    In light of these developments, I've contacted Bambu to cancel my order for an X1C. This is exactly the type of issue that has caused me to avoid Apple products. When I shell out for a product, I expect to own and control it.
