    Sourcing Metal | General Discussion

Metaux Solutions in Longueuil just outside Montreal. They're my main supplier when I need full bars. I've got a friend who owns a machine shop. When I just need a few inches for a proto I can usually trade him beer for bar. And I've got walkabout privileges at 4 scrap yards in the region...

    Wanted: Metal Lathe

For $ 55 a month that Protospace place seems like your best deal. It's cute having your own stuff but you also own the hassle of the maintenance, transport, mess, cost. For $ 55 you have no stress plus access to a ton of other equipment and the knowledge of the other members.

Missed that detail. Need to agree with John on that, $ 120 seems steep. At a 20% margin you need to guarantee a $ 1000 in sales a month just to stay ahead. Maybe, but maybe not to.

Rules New Vendor Member Level -- I need your help!

Sounds like a good plan. Iirc the general rule on PM is if you're they're to contribute ( regularly ) they'll tolerate you promoting your business. If you're only there to generate sales and push traffic to your site then pay up. Either way everyone gets what they want/need and we all...
