    Multifix Holder (3d Print)

Up to 3 so far. Going to flip a couple for the boring bar holders which are pointed the opposite way. Don't want the cutter pointing down risking the release of blood.

    Multifix Holder (3d Print)

I just love my Multifix tools, thought I would get them closer to me. Made up this holder remixed from other works to fit the mini lathe chip shield. I made a lock for the bracket that securely holds it in place. Not sure if I have the room or if the shield can hold 7 of them but gosh darn it...

    Change Gear Holder (3d Print)

Gotta say my CR Touch has been a game changer. It's important to learn how to level properly but it's super handy.

    Change Gear Holder (3d Print)

@Tincup Yep, totally agree. It's very popular which equals lots of support and modding capabilities. Mine is a clone of that made by Voxelab which is owned by Flashforge. It is even less expensive then the Creality Ender. All parts, mods etc are interchangeable.

    Change Gear Holder (3d Print)

Thank you. I build with Tinkercad when I can, it's easy. Fusion 360 for complicated stuff. Cura for slicing. Voxelab Aquila X2 (Ender 3 V2 clone) Material is PLA+, print took 26hrs. I'm happy with it. Originally thought about stacking on a post as well but knowing me, the one I would need...

    Change Gear Holder (3d Print)

All my gears needed a home so I made this to keep them comfortable. Empty spot gears are on the lathe. Space for blank spot bushings as well.

Lathe Rigidity Testing (determine upgrade benefits)

What advice did you provide? Use a smaller tool post and that a DRO won't help rigidity? Experience is one thing, being able to convey it in a useful manner is another. You see, you just can't help it. Such a rude comment and we don't even know each other.

Lathe Rigidity Testing (determine upgrade benefits)

I'll be honest with you, I liked it's off topicness more than your post. You are writing from a sour negative point of view. Your comments aren't absolutes and the reality of each has more to be considered. You only offerd one line of neutral advice. Your DRO comment set me off and is indicative...

Lathe Rigidity Testing (determine upgrade benefits)

@Susquatch It's funny you say that because initially I didn't want one (and might not still) because I really wanted to just go manual. That is why I went through the trouble to make this an imperial machine. Maybe I'll just install a dial indicator stop for the time being.
