    NUMOBAMS 8x16 (NU-210G) Lathe Review

GEARBOX REVIEW Well, the one thing I didn't take apart and I should have sooner. Below you will see pics that are kinda disturbing considering these were intentionally installed on a new lathe touting quality. It shifted fine into the gears but it didn't feel repeatable or solid, now I know...

What's your favorite lathe parting tool / holder?

And would it be suitable for a small lathe? I currently have this style and it's a bit wonky, not liking it much. Might just be this particular one or not idunno. Let me say that I can indeed part off on my little lathe without issue, just want a better tool.

    Headstock Alignment Factory Provisions.

Yes that is correct. Front is V, rear is flat because what might have once been a V has been cut out to clear the rear bed V.

    Headstock Alignment Factory Provisions.

Just the décor from the previously painted stripes on the bed channels before the manufacturer covered over them in their own green.

    Headstock Alignment Factory Provisions.

Oh the manuals for these lathes can't be trusted. The clearance slot goes all the way, only a single V as a seat. No pic of the bed sans headstock yet.
