    MODERN Lathe Victoria

Yup, I was on that auction and threw my bid in as well. I had a feeling it would go up to 5k which is still not bad when you look at comparables on the market. Wasn’t willing to go that high on a Chinese lathe though. British/US or Taiwan for sure.

Myford ML7 lathe in Moose Jaw

Don’t think so. I’ve been monitoring machinery prices, including Myfords, very closely for the past 3 years. Yours is undervalued! As a matter of fact, I saw one in person just yesterday (he wouldn’t sell). I picked up his nice Atlas 7B instead.

    10" Royal Metal Shaper

I was the 3rd person on the guys the list within 30 minutes of the posting. Some lucky trigger boy got that one. Would have been a great project.

How much would you pay for a Myford?

That Myford on the Island for 15k did sell, diont know how much though. There was another one in the Vancouver area last year that went for 10k plus. Took a couple months. There’s another one now for sale in Langley at Bell for 15K in brand new condition. Just like real estate, get used to it.

    $1000 Boxford Mission BC

I saw this one when it was listed. Fantastic price for this lathe. He could have easily got more than twice that.

    Colchester Shopmaster 2500 $4000

Just an FYI, an older flat head Colchester, 60s vintage MK2, in similar condition sold at Lenmark recently for $10,500! Unfortunately this one does look like a deal as a fixer upper. Can't believe the prices of used lathes these days.

Lol guys. I just came across this post. I'm the new owner. Currently restoring her. It will be many months of work, well under way though.
