CA-ALL Any experience with this company?

I bought a 10" cast pulley off them, the quality was alright, light weight but it did the job. I hadn't noticed the extensive inventory they have, kind of like a Canadian McMaster.

    Mystery lathe, for real

The guy with the punch and hammer strikes again only this time it's the housing for the main spindle taper roller bearing that is being wacked at. "Every time I hit it it spins so I'll just keep hitting until something happens" Luckily he didn't harm the bearing, it still spins smoothly...

    Mystery lathe, for real

I started taking apart the headstock today, I think I can safely say that yes, this machine served time in a highschool. One less John on the Forum

Good for you, it's no small feat to put yourself out there and brave public opinion. I have a close relative that started the transition about ten years ago, he's a lot happier now than before. Wish you the best of luck.

    Mystery lathe, for real

Oh this the fun stuff, small items that I can clean and make shine again with in a few days. The hard slog is about to start, the lathe stand, not looking forward to it. A 100 X the amount of work and if I do it properly, no one will even notice it, but has to be done next so I still have some...
