  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. CA-AB Source for ID honed hydraulic tube Calgary

Not a common size, so I think I'll need to build it. 1" bore x ~42", Calgary source preferred but may have to go outside. TIA

Yes, Ontario somewhere, I believe. Level of knowledge this guy has, I'd say he must have done (or maybe still does) this professionally.

    Tips/Techniques Sharpening endmills, reamers etc.

Link to a video of a guy that sharpens endmills, reamers etc. with a tool & cutter grinder. Guy has some nice tools, knows how to use them and is pretty good at explaining what and why he's doing things ! Several good videos from this guy.

    Anti-foam agent for oil ?

Yes, there is an in-line relief valve, set @ 1600 ~ 2000 psi (Princess auto analog setting with no gauge on it, so no easy way to check it.). I "think" I would see it as a reduction in flow across the window on top of the chip box (picture). At full flow, it spreads out and pretty much covers...

    Anti-foam agent for oil ?

Thanks for your response. As of today, I've removed the spin on filter, cut it apart and spread out the paper guts -- quite a lot of "fines" trapped in the paper. Spun on a new filter, soon, I'll try it again. I like the fan idea, just don't have one to put on it at the moment, have to pick one...
