How can I add a togglable magnets to my bicycle frame fixtures?

Basically what the title says. This style of bicycle frame fixturing I am using uses high-rise v-blocks that let you suspend your tubing above a 1:1 scale drawing of the frame you are fabricating. I am thinking that a future upgrade to this setup would be the addition of some sort of togglable...

    Xyphota's bicycle related projects

After the braze-on adventures, I welded the seat tube to the bottom bracket. I spent about 2 hours of tacking and retacking trying to get it bang on. After deciding the tacks were sufficient, it was removed from the jig (basically what is in the first picture below, just two tube supports...

    DRO install on Myford ML7R

Yeah shipping was like $100 I think. Was only a couple of days I think. I initially didnt checkout right away and then they sent me a 5% off coupon code. EDIT: I paid $340 plus $111 shipping, for 1 glass scale, 1 magnetic scale, and display

    Colchester Master 2500 DRO installation

That's what I did on my Myford install. Glass scale on the back and magnetic in the cross slide. I think the glass scale on the back was the right choice because I don't worry at all about it getting it full of chips. One thing to consider is whether or not your Z (longitudinal) axis scale...

    Rear mounted parting blade.

I had to do something similar a few weeks ago. I normally have a QCTP rigidly mounted to the cross slide, but I needed to make a batch of tapered parts so I re-installed the topslide and moved the QCTP to the back. The myford lathes have threaded chucks so running them in reverse under load is...

Tips/Techniques Feedback on Brazing techniques and results

I checked for warpage with a straight edge and couldn't see anything. I posted this same thread to a bicycle framebuilding forum and my main take-away other than poor technique (LOL) is the torch flame is too aggressive. I took an oxy-acetylene course at SAIT last year which mostly focused on...
