  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. Looking for Depth gauge parts for Buffalo 15 inch drill press

I’m looking for the depth gauge parts for an old Buffalo Forge 15 inch drill press. The parts that allow you to set the depth of the drill bit. The drill came out of the Old GE plant in Peterborough Ontario after it shut down. It’s a well built drill press that I’d like to get the parts for...

    Best cleaner for old lathe

I’m not too sure if I’m in the same boat with my South Bend 13. I might have to resort to a squirt bottle and my Mother in Laws toothbrush on some of the nooks and cranny’s.

    portable bandsaws

I have the Dewalt corded bandsaw and the Swag auxiliary table only. I just chuck it up in my mechanics vice when I need to use it. I’m limited to room on my work bench so it stays hanging up until I need it. Some of the best money I’ve spent. I’ve only gone through the original Dewalt blade. It...

Good Morning from Durham Region Ontario

Good Morning, New Member here. Not really new to the metalworking hobby. I got into it as a way to try and repair some old air rifles and maybe try to earn a bit of side cash making parts. This allows me to justify to my Wife the cost of my hobby. Starting out with a small manual Sherline...
