In practical terms, when wound you use a single cut versus double cut file?

Tool Good Quality Files and where to purchase them?

That's definitely true, however buying a "good quality" brand generally does increase the probability of getting a good quality product. My response has reminded me of when I was thinking of buying an expensive Classical Guitar. There's a mystery surrounding what it is that actually makes a...

    SendCutSend anyone?

I have an iPad that's a couple of years old, with the latest version of iOS operating system. Lightspeed's webpage renders the same for me as it does for you. I looked at your webpage on my iPad and my Windows laptop. It's a pain in the butt that webpages that render on one sometimes don't...

    SendCutSend anyone?

Tool Good Quality Files and where to purchase them?

Tool Good Quality Files and where to purchase them?

Nice, maybe I’ll have to order one or two to try them. I watch ClickSpring’s videos on Youtube sometimes, and he recommended Grobet files, but I sure wasn’t able to find a place in Canada to order them. The do look nice!

Tool Good Quality Files and where to purchase them?

It’s probably time for me to think about replacing some of the files I’ve had for the last 30 years… my favourite bastard file has lost so many teeth it’s becoming a bastard to use.. Can others provide recommendations for good quality files and where to purchase them?

    Brent Builds!!

I think if have to make 50 of the same widgets I’d like CNC. Until then I’d prefer manual, though a DRO on the mill will be excellent.
