You don't need to buy anything. You already have everything you need. I'm serious. Cold air holds very little water. A few degrees increase in temperature will dramatically lower the relative humidity. All you need to do is add a little heat. For small spaces at low enough temperatures, even...

I dunno about that. I'd put a lot of effort into improving the sealing of my shop before I abandoned dehumidification. For that matter, you need a fair bit of air exchange to maintain properly conditioned air. It is the nature of the way air holds water that you don't need perfection. If you...

Not many members in Whistler, but a few not too far away. By the way, I edited that post after you quoted me to add a link to our lathe survey. Give it another read.

Shop Tools to keep out in the open?

My entire shop is dirty from one end to the other. I separate wood work from metal work except for those times when I do metal work in the wood shop or vice versa. I clean up when I need to.

    What size Lathe ?

A combo machine is always a bit of a compromise and not many members have one. There are a few here who do though. Also, several of my close friends have combo machines and they love them. I think it all depends on how amenable you are to their compromises and what your expectations are. Visit...
